This is really odd timing, right? Eminem is dropping a new album, and that album features some lyrics that are already getting people all riled up.   Then his childhood home burns down suspiciously. Could these two things be related? Long story short a fire ravaged Eminem’s childhood home. The same one featured on his new album cover AND the new issue of Iron Man. No, seriously, it is on an Iron Man cover, too. Yup, that exact home, burnt to ashes. Well not really, they put the fire out, but you get the point.

As reported on TMZ earlier today, a random fire broke out at Eminem’s old house in Detroit where he grew up. Granted, he no longer owned the house (the bank owned it) but it is still the place he grew up. The place he probably found a lot of the inspiration for the Slim Shady character. The firefighters managed to contain the blaze before the house was completely burnt down, and the oddest part is they don’t know how it could have happened.

So it seems like I am the only one who remembers the scene when Eminem burns down his childhood home from his movie, 8 Mile? Well we can file that one under the “oddly suspicious but best to leave it alone” category.
