Prepare yourselves. John Stamos’ butt is about to happen. Stamos posed for Paper Magazine without pants, you see, because apparently Paper Magazine’s editors are all about the ass. Paper Magazine is the same magazine that ran that cover with Kim Kardashian’s oiled-up ass, plus they’ve been doing a lot of “provocative” editorials this year. But the Stamos Butt might be the most provocative one of all (not really). I’m including the butt photo at the end of the post, just so you guys aren’t confronted by dude-butt as the header image. Enjoy.
As for the larger feature, Stamos sat down for an interview because he’s promoting his Fox show, Grandfathered. He’s also appearing in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2, and he’ll be appearing in Fuller House, the Netflix reboot of Full House. Some highlights from the interview:
The craziest thing he’s done all year: “Pose bottomless for PAPER.”
The most stressful part of his life: “Answering questions like this. And learning lines is the hardest part of the acting process.”
Whether he’s ever edited his Wiki page: “I never have — but I remember early on reading it and someone else edited in that I had done a bunch or porno films with very funny titles. Clever.”
The first website he checks in the morning: “The Huffington Post.”
Does he have a Google Alert for himself? “No way. I rarely read about myself — mostly because I’m tired of “me” — and also if you believe the good stuff, you have to believe the bad stuff. I just stay away.
He’s down with social media: “Sometimes they all drive me crazy. Other times, I’m thoroughly entertained. I’ve probably gravitated a little more towards Twitter, but I like Instagram quite a bit, too. Facebook is pretty cool. And I’ve been having a lot of fun on Snapchat lately.”
I think if you’re an actor working on a dialogue-heavy show like… something Aaron Sorkin would write, then it’s okay to complain about learning your lines. But he’s working on a silly Fox comedy! And he finds it difficult to learn his lines? Eh.
Anyway, here’s the butt photo. I don’t know… I think it looks pretty good for a 52-year-old? Ten bucks says he got waxed.
