At 47, Joe Rogan has found his niche. He’s a sports commentator, an actor, a comedian and he hosts a hit television show that people just love to hate. After all, watching Fear Factor is fascinating, but how many of us have to stop watching when spiders and snakes and creepy bugs start crawling all over contestants or are used as an afternoon snack for those who want to win a lot of money? Joe Rogan is everywhere, but he’s not the household name you might expect from someone who actually has so many jobs in the spotlight. He’s working on it, but he’s not quite there yet. He has expanded his career to an impressive level, but it always feels as if we just don’t know much about Joe Rogan. Who is he? And would he do the kind of things people do on Fear Factor, where he stands back and watches, or would he pass on that experience in favor of something else? We decided to learn a bit more about the television host/actor/comedian and share with you.

He Loves Social Media

Joe Rogan is a bit Twitter fan, often using his feed to promote his work, his interests and his thoughts. He has many followers and each one seems to have something they want him to retweet or share with the rest of his fans, which is what the site is all about.

He Doesn’t Speak to His Dad

As a parent, it always touches your heart to hear of a child who is not in contact with a parent. After Rogan moved from his home in Massachusetts to San Francisco before moving again to Gainesville, Florida he lost contact with his biological father. He hasn’t actually spoken to him since he was 6.

He’s Not Religious

He’s made a stand as to the fact that while he follows no religion, he’s not opposed to the belief in a higher power. He does not name that higher power as any one specific belief, but he’s just not a religious man. It’s something that bothers many and doesn’t affect others in the least.
