Bam Adebayo children-American basketball player, Edrice Femi “Bam” Adebayo was born on July 18th, 1997 in Newark, New Jersey.
When Adebayo was seven years old, his mother and he relocated to North Carolina. He was a junior at Pinetown, North Carolina’s Northside High School, where he averaged 32.2 points and 21 rebounds per game.
Together with fellow five-star 2016 recruit Dennis Smith Jr., Adebayo joined his Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) team, Team Loaded North Carolina, over the summer. On the Adidas Uprising Circuit, he had a game average of 15.0 po ints and 10 rebounds.

Adebayo participated in the NBPA Top 100 Camp later that summer and was honored as MVP in the 2015 Under Armour Elite 24 match.
He transferred to High Point Christian Academy in High Point, North Carolina, following his junior year at Northside. Adebayo had 22 points and 17 rebounds in his first game of the year as his team defeated New Garden Friends School 81-39.
On December 29, he outscored De’Aaron Fox and Cypress Lakes High School 91-63 while pulling down 14 rebounds.
Adebayo led the Cougars to an NCISAA state final appearance as a senior, averaging 18.9 points per game, 13.0 rebounds per game, 1.4 blocks per game, and 1.5 assists per game.
The 2016 Mr. Basketball for North Carolina title went to Adebayo. He participated in the Jordan Brand Classic and the 2016 McDonald’s All-American Game in January.

The Miami Heat selected Adeb ayo with the 14th overall choice in the 2017 NBA Draft on June 22, 2017.He joined the Heat on July 1 and was given a rookie scale deal, just in time for the NBA Summer League.
Adebayo had a 6.9 point and 5.5 rebound average in 69 games with the Heat during his rookie campaign. In a 125-115 loss to the Toronto Raptors on November 25, 2018, Adebayo recorded a career-high 21 rebounds in addition to 16 points.

Bam was given more responsibility in his debut season as a starter in the 2019–20 season after Hassan Whiteside was traded.
In a 135-121 overtime victory over the Atlanta Hawks on December 10, 2019, Adebayo earned his first triple-double of his career with a career-high 30 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists.
In a 122-118 overtime victory over the Dallas Mavericks on December 14, he recorded his second triple-double of his career, tallying 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Adebayo received the award for Eastern Conference Player of the Week on December 16 for the games he played between December 9 and 15, averaging 20.0 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 8.7 assists per contest.
Adebayo and the Heat agreed to a five-year contract extension on November 28, 2020. In a 128-124 loss to the Brooklyn Nets on January 23, 2021, Adebayo recorded a career-high 41 points and nine assists.
Adebayo had right thumb surgery on December 7, 2021, and was sidelined for at least four to six weeks.
With a 53-29 record and a return trip to the Conference Finals, where they once more squared off against the Boston Celtics, Adebayo assisted the Heat in securing the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
Adebayo defeated the Boston Celtics 109-103 in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals on May 21, 2022. He finished with 31 points on 15 of 22 field goal attempts, 10 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals.
On November 25, 2022, Adebayo defeated the Washington Wizards 110-107 while tallying a season-high 38 points and 12 rebounds. Adebayo was selected for his second NBA All-Star Game on February 2, 2023.
